The Event
The Birmingham Triathlon offers a valuable opportunity to enjoy a non-competitive triathlon in a welcoming and fun environment, whilst raising funds for a charity of your choice.
Participants will take on the challenge of completing the achievable swim, cycle and run distances, along an enclosed well-planned and safe, marshalled course.
Experience the innovative grass cycling leg in this unique triathlon! The course is guaranteed traffic-free and features clear post-and-tape markings for easy navigation. This layout is a win for everyone, as it offers a fantastic vantage point for spectators, and provides a massive boost for competitors. Whether you’re aiming to complete your first triathlon, a personal best or the podium, there will be a front-row seat for your fans and supporters. And to ensure a smoother ride, we’ll provide a fresh cut to the grass just before race day to keep you rolling fast. Use any bike you like—road, mountain, or anything in between!

Fundraising
Fundraising is completed before the event via your fundraising page. This is automatically created for you when filling in the entry form. It can easily be shared with family, friends, or anyone to help raise fundraising donations online.

By signing up to the UK Charity Triathlon, each competitor commits to a minimum fundraising target of £75 to take part, with an ideal goal of £150, donated to your chosen charity.
Teams
A team can consist of two or more members.
All team members must use the same team name and sign up for the same distance.
Teams are simply a way for you to take part alongside your friends. Each team member completes the full triathlon themselves. You’ll start one after another at set intervals from the swimming pool, and you’re welcome to cycle and run together, finishing as a group if you’d like.
Every finisher will still receive their own individual overall time.
