Cancer Research UK

For the past 120 years, we’ve been making discoveries that save lives. But we have so much more to do as cancer remains one of the world’s greatest health challenges. Over the last 40 years, cancer survival in the UK has doubled. In the 1970s just 1 in 4 people survived their disease for 10 years or more. Today 2 in 4 survive. Our ambition is to accelerate progress and see 3 in 4 patients surviving the disease by 2034.

NSPCC

We help protect children and prevent abuse by working with families, communities and professionals across the UK and Channel Islands. Our services play a vital role in safeguarding children and helping them thrive.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

The best medical care for your child isn’t always close to home, and families often find themselves travelling long distances to be with their child in hospital.
Our 14 Houses across the UK give families a warm and comfortable place to rest, eat and relax, just moments away from their child’s hospital ward. Our support is invaluable to families at a critical time in their lives.

Marie Curie

Marie Curie provides a better end of life for more people, whatever the illness. We’re here for anyone living with any illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. We provide free palliative and end of life care, information and support. We campaign for more people to have a better end of life and fund palliative care research.

Railway Children

Railway Children protects vulnerable children at risk of being lost to the streets across the UK,
India and Tanzania. Working with transport networks and communities, we intervene early to
reach children, support families and influence policy – creating real, lasting change and
ensuring children are safe, heard and empowered to reach their full potential.

Arthritis UK

Over 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis. In fact, every day around one thousand people are diagnosed with osteoarthritis, the most common form of arthritis, and every month over 2,000 people are diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. We won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose with real hope of a cure in the future.

MS-UK

MS-UK is a national charity formed in 1993. MS is a condition that affects the central nervous system – the brain and spinal cord and there is currently no cure. MS-UK is here for anyone affected by multiple sclerosis, to empower them to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of MS and providing support where it is needed most.
